Partially true. But for the love of humanity would someone please write a credible article about my County’s history. You lost me at farmers, of which there are none around the National Wildlife Refuge. Which is an agency that could care less about the Paiutes and has methodically abused their power to obtain private lands from local RANCHERS.

I, a pauite tribal member are concern of the militants are back again on our tribal land. Here again refusing to leave again until they have part of the tribal land for their cattle. Also, presently living on wildlife regufes. Our pauite members are frightened of these people..what next?…

Those who forget their history are doomed to repeat it. Those who know little to nothing of American History denigrate the Natives, few in number today who try to reaffirm their right to sacred lands by our inherent sovereignty as well as tribal sovereignty guaranteed in treaty rights, “the supreme law of the land,” US Constitution. Learn from the Paiutes and other great people of this land to care for it properly as they did for centuries.
